Teachers vs Students Netball 2018

Last week the A team took on the teachers in a game of netball. It was a close game with both teams playing with skill and flare. Fantastic effort was made by all involved! Congratulations to the teachers who took out the result in the end. 

Netball Prizegiving

Congratulations to all of the girls who played netball for the school this season. It has been fantastic seeing you improve each week. Last Saturday we had netball prize giving at Waikowhai Intermediate. Congratulations to Tvisha, Joanna, Akeelah, Nicole and Arina who received their teams 'Sportsmanship and fair play' award. 

Congratulations to A team for winning the B grade, B team for finishing runners up in the C grade and C team for winning the E grade. It was fantastic to see all your hard work this season paying off.

A MASSIVE congratulations to all the children who took part in the Cross Country today at Monte Cecilia park. It was a fantastic day with some amazing results. 

The children all gave it 110% and were rewarded by finishing 1st overall!! Thank you so much to all of the whanau who came along to support and encourage the children it was a true team effort! We are super proud of all of you!

Congratulations to James, Dylan and Alesssandra on finishing 1st in their respective races, and Aryan and Alina on finishing 2nd and Sanah on finishing 3rd. 

Cross Country

Good luck to all the children going to Cross Country zones tomorrow at Monte Cecilia Park. Here is a rough schedule for the day in case you want to come and support the team. 

Rugby Zones

The Halsey Drive Rugby Team proudly represented the school at the Central Rugby Zones on Tuesday. There were a number of standout players on the day but the true standout performance was the way the team showed integrity and team work with each game they played. The team put on a stellar performance and came away with 4 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw, finishing 2nd overall by 1 point. Thank you to all those parents who came down to support and provided transportation. Nga mihi nui.

Netball 2018

Congratulations to all of the girls who took part in Netball this season, it has been great seeing the improvement each week. A MASSIVE thank you to all our coaches, managers, umpires and supporters, we couldn't do it without you!

Congratulations to the A, B and C netball teams who have been successful in their grades, these girls will now need to attend Prize Giving on Saturday 15th September at Waikowhai Intermediate to receive their awards. Also congratulations to the girls who have been nominated for their teams Sportmaship and Fairplay award.
